IN CAST IRON WORKS

1945- Our foundry began its operations in "Borgo Crocetta", located in the Cinisello Balsamo area, using the structure of a pre-existing foundry dating back to 1907.

1946 - Membership in the "ASSOFOND" association, which has ensured ongoing training and constant exchange with other organizations.

1947 - 1960 The mechanization of the forming departments begins.

1961 - The building is expanded with the model warehouse, the molding and core shop halls, and the office building. Casting lines in the foundry department and the overhead molding sand system are installed.

1976 - Installation of the fume extraction and purification system for cupola furnaces.

1982 - Based on a design by Maestro Casanova, we created the sculpture "Madonna dei bambini" which can be seen in the courtyard of the parish nursery school in the "La Crocetta" neighborhood.

1994 - New ovens are installed to replace the original cupola ovens.

1998 - Installation of a ground cooling system and Certification of our Quality System by DNV ITALIA in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard, a certificate periodically renewed to date

2001 - Installation of HUNTER training machine

2019 - Installation of new cluster shot blasting machine

2023 - Entry of the fourth generation into the company

For over 70 years the Crocetta Foundry in Cinisello Balsamo has represented a point of reference in the sector of cast iron works, offering expertise, reliability and certified quality. The company specializes in cast iron works Small and medium-sized series, weighing between 0.5 kg and 80 kg, guaranteeing precise and customized solutions for every industrial need. We produce lamellar graphite iron castings compliant with UNI EN 1561 and spheroidal graphite iron castings compliant with UNI EN 1563, ensuring high quality standards and constant monitoring of mechanical characteristics. To meet the specific needs of each project, the base materials are supplemented with selected alloys such as nickel (NI), chromium (CR), copper (CU), and molybdenum (MO), improving the strength, durability, and performance of the finished product.

We operate in numerous industrial sectors: tractors, earthmoving machinery, pumps and compressors, automotive, machine tools, textiles, furniture and design, hydraulics, and various mechanical engineering. Thanks to a melting plant comprising an 8-ton oxy-fuel rotary furnace and a 15-ton electric channel furnace, we ensure homogeneous and controlled melting, essential for producing reliable, high-performance castings.
